Small flaw

I was very enthusiastic when I got my Slicer. I Immediately started working on my present project. To my dismay, there was a small flaw. The bottom of the sliding stopper piece leave a gap between it and the bottom plate, so my .5mm wood stripes slipped under the stopper instead of stopping at it. I corrected it by epoxying some small pieces of wood and micro-sanding until there was almost no gap between these two parts.
